In response to tragic events at Reynolds High School, the District asked our firm to expand our summer project scope and completely transform the gym building lobby and adjacent restrooms. In a seemingly impossible task, we designed, detailed, documented and administrated a complete renovation while also securing material discounts and donations to support the district staff, students, and community in their time of need. The result is a direct representation of the school and surrounding community rallying together to support one another in the process of healing. Highlights of the space include reclaimed bleacher walls, new metal and wood ceilings, a twelve-panel digital media wall, custom award display cases, and improved wayfinding singage.
